I can imagine the beautiful blue hydrangeas starting to bloom at the west coast, a lasting impression from my first visit. It will be weeks before these giant drifts of snow will allow my crocuses and tulips to awake from their wintry bed. I thank goodness for the flowers in my home that make the wait for spring blossoms more bearable on this stormy first day of spring in Saskatchewan.

Hi Peggy - sorry about your spring blizzard - Gary has been cutting the grass & I've been washing the outside of the windows. We have two beautiful blue hydrangeas with the leaves starting to unfurl, Also have a large Camellia tree/ bush (?) by the front door which has about a dozen gorgeous blooms and literally hundreds of buds !! It didn't have many blooms last spring so I'm thrilled. Love your website
